So yeah, she pardons a turkey, and then in one of the great, gory truthtelling scenes I've seen, she continues on with the interview while carnage ensues in the background.  She appears to be oblivious to the fact that there are turkeys being killed while she's talking.
 
Metaphor much?  The universe speaks even when people wish it wouldn't...
 
By the way...only watch the vid if killing animals doesn't upset you.

Does she ever?  rofl...HuffingtonPost.com today suggested that this segment is the best thing that she could do for PETA.  Far too many people are grossly unaware of how they get their chow.  And they are happy to remain ignorant, for if they really understood factory farming (or read Upton Sinclair's The Jungle) they'd not bother with meat from the market again.
