...the sea is calm, and all's well with the world. This morn we gave mom her late birthday present (camera). Instead of the Canon I was going to get mail-order, I found a Nikon Coolpix S560 at Costco that is so cool, my wife wants one for Christmas! Sweet little camera. Now mom can take pix of the family Turkeyday at the beach. She's happy.

The sun came out about 1 hour .5 ago, and I am happy. Soon as I finish this leftover salmon the wife made last night, mom and I are going for a walk on the beach with the gulls. It'll give her a chance to play with her newfangled toy.

Too cold for mom to be outside long. Maybe we'll walk tomorrow. Went to the AGA for some victuals this afternoon, but it was dark 'fore we got back. Surf sounds nice this evening! My older sis will arrive later tonight. Hope y'all are all enjoying getting psyched for turkey day after tomorrow.

Lotsa love,
Xer

Xer, you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Your someone on whom the meaning of that day is neither lost, or wasted.

While at it, Coot, Gryphon, Jen, Kitty, Nacho, yawl have a great Thanksgiving too, because you deserve it.

Too cool if somehow all our families could do this together. When I think of the stories we could tell, I think maybe that suddenly isn't such a good idea.

Don't nobody go cookin' no neocons instead of turkeys. I know they're equally stupid. Neocons look up and drown in the rain too. Cookin' neocons requires a different stuffing. Use popcorn instead, and when the neocon ass blows off, throw the whole thing away, get a real turkey and do it right.

Only wish that I had the word power of you all (all of you), but in my simple minded way:
I love you all -- all the time.

oc...turkey with our daughter and family tomorrow...

Yes, Jen. There is a gas fireplace, and it sees lots of flames in the evenings. We also have neat kitchens that are getting a healthy workout. Xer's a happy camper, yeah, you bet'cha.

Coot, often the simplest words convey the most. Believe me, my friend, you do a wonderful job with words.
