Tomorrow night I'll be in Seattle listening to my amazing daughter! I'm going straight from the airport to the Musiquarium Lounge at the Triple Door...she's playing a set from 9 - Midnight I'll be with her until Sunday...and for my birthday, she's performing a Symphony at the Benaroya..hehe...ok...not Only for my birthday...but Sunday after the performance, I'll jam to the airport and head back. I can't think of a better way to organize a visit than with Liv welcoming me and sending me off with music...I do love that girl! Oh...last christmas, Liv played in the Oregon and Washington shows with Michael W. Smith...here's a youtube clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bg07Gp7Xuf8 the camera pans off the singer, and Liv is the bassist on the far right. She got invited back to play with them again this year, for Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, and for the orchestra in those states, she's principal! |

Hey Jen, try to take a few hours off and drive up towards Darrington. Nice drive. Go up on I5 to Arlington exit and on to Darrington. Then to get back to Seattle, drive the Mt. Loop Highway.
oc... thus you will get a glimpse into the beautiful country ... |

Jen, hope all your travels are on time and uneventful. Since you'll be in transit, then with your daughter, I don't expect you to read this now. There can be no doubt, once you arrive at Seattle, Liv is going to take good care of you. Seattle is such a beautiful city! At Ocean Shores is quite a wind now howling around corners of the buildings that has blown all the clouds away. This sharp screamer is cutting the tops off the waves, spraying it into the air twice the height of the waves being capped! And, the sun is brilliant here today! It is all magnificent! Hope you are having as lovely a day on the Puget Sound too.

Thank you for the text message, Jen. I don't know how to do those, but it was fun to get one from you!
Hope your Thanksgiving was even half as wonderful as you are. |
