He hasn't posted in a week, and I don't recall him mentioning going somewhere. Is my memory slipping again?
Going for Cardio-Therapy now. Will be back this afternoon. Everyone be well. |

You know, as I posted this morning, I thought the same thing...that I hadn't seen him around in a while. I'm going to go do some e-pestering and see if I can find our Dear Cooter!!! |

Thanks friend Xer for the concern. Jen caught up with me and mentioned your post.
Flora and I have been "out of this world" busy for the past couple of weeks doing fun stuff. One high point was our visitors from Seattle. Old work and party friends. They came with their 20 something son who we watched grow up. Neat young man. (he was impressed with my computer room -- hoho)
Ladies all, I sprung a few bucks on Flora - sic Coco stuff...haha She was impressed and loved it. Wouldn't wait til Christmas before opening the thingy.
oc...love you all |

"long locks"
haha my longest is maybe 1/2 inch.......
Yep out here in this "old people" enclave, we keep pretty close tabs on one another and esp so close by neighbors. Keeping tabs is one of the un-reported good things about this great country of ours.
Have an enjoyable trip to India. In all of my travels, I never got to set foot on that neat land.
oc...Gryp, I am the lucky one in this household. yep |

Just wanted to say, women who know the wife and I, have been telling her for decades, and still do, how lucky she is to have me.
They don't know the half of it. Yes, I'm very supportive of my wife and I have no problems with her being in the spotlight rather than me. It is true she would not be who/where she is today had she never met me. I'll concede that, but it's also true I would not be who/where I am today either.
Thanks to her I will be a footnote in a couple of focused history books after I die. Without her, I probably wouldn't even be mentioned in the obits! She is already mentioned in a couple books in one field, magazine articles--not to mention in dozens and dozens of places online, and she's referenced in books of another field!
Let's not forget, if she hadn't been there to stop my leaving this earth a year and half back, I'd be gone now, I'd be gone... If it weren't for her I'd never have had Wildfire. Bless her heart for that! If it weren't for her I'd eat food that would kill me. Heck, if it weren't for her I'd starve! When she doesn't feed me I simply forget to eat, kid you not.
When we started out I was supportive of her career, thinking later she would be supportive of mine, but hers took a lot of work on both our parts, over a long period of time, and before long I became a recruit. My own career never took off. But, I do not resent it!
The truth is we are and have always been a team, but because of her letters she gets the official credit. Heck, aiming the spotlight is reward enough for me. People who actually know us are aware my contributions. We have had a fantastic life together, and I wouldn't change it if I could. On top of that, the ride's not even over yet. <grin>
It seems a real pity to me, so many men are such selfish chumps they can't support their wife's aspirations that so many women think my wife is the lucky one. Hah!!! I'm the lucky one.
