Guys, if yawl want to keep this group together, we need to think about moovin. Deadline is approaching, and the founding father is oudda da country.

Or is the plan to let the shelter close, and dump a bunch of homeless old people out on the street?

I missed some of the folks over at FMH, so I joined the Aimoo group.  I know I said once I'm gone from a place, it's forever....  I'm a putz....

As for what will happen to this Cafe....  I don't know.  I've joined up with some other groups (Sammers started several!)  Each server-type (Voy, Aimoo, etc.,) comes with its own learning curve....  And some have so many pop-up ads it drives me batty (I should say battier?   )  But at least there ARE places to continue communicating...

And, I hate having to be "TheREALGryphon" because some young whippersnapper grabbed my name before I did.....

Cool yer jets there, Rocket Man. I ain't dead... yet. Not on the moon either... yet. We'll be Stateside again before the month's over. In the meantime, some lively discussion of which new alternative would be best to move our Cafe to is healthy, and certainly appreciated. From what folks have said so far, Aimoo looks possible???

Thanks for staying alert there, Pikes!    The world needs more lerts.

And if our leader gets bent...

Coot: Generally, I try and remain more limber than that???

Jen: I will be home in less than a week,. but if you could initiate a place for us at Aimoo and name it Café Américain? That would be so cool! Café Américain was my first choice as a name for this place, but someone already had that, so I named it Xer's Café Américain. (shrug) What else could I do? Before we dismantle this place we need another place to direct old members to apply to, if they want to remain part of the community, so kick one off if you can. That would be great. You can bring me in soon as I figure out how to join Aimoo? Then we can work on the archive stuff? Pikes can help with that also... if he's not to busy partying on sabbatical?

Loves ya,' and thanks to you and Pikes both for the offers of help. We as a group have each other's e-mails, don't we? You all certainly know mine: [email protected] so, NO ONE should get lost in the move.
