Again, looking out my front door. Took this about two hours ago. When I was a kid we lived in South Dakota. I remember seeing snow like this. I remember snow from Kansas and Illinois too, but this snow reminds me of South Dakota. That was where I fell through the ice and my little brother pulled me out, saving my life. Been living in the Puget Sound region, Seattle and Olympia mostly, since 1972, and I have NEVER seen snow like this in the lowlands. Up in the mountain passes? Yeah, seen it a lot up there, but never like this, not down here. Never like this. |
