1 lb. ground chuck
1 lb. hot sausage
1 large onion, chopped
1 cloves garlic, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 hot pepper, chopped
1 can green chilies
3 cans assorted beans (chili, navy, pinto - whatever you like)
1 can crushed tomatos
1 sm. can tomato paste
1 large can V-8
4-8 T. chili pepper (Mexene) Depending on your hotness taste
touch of sugar to reduce acid from tomatoes
Sautee meat with onion, garlic, peppers, celery until tender. Add tomatos, tomato paste, V-8 and spices. Simmer until desired thickness. (I serve mine with fresh copped onion and cheddar cheese.)
