Ashley's Today's Scripture *November 23, 2008*
1 Corinthians 15:49
Just as we are now like the earthly man, we will someday be like the heavenly man.
This Scripture is exciting. Right now we are in our earthly bodies that were designed for us as we live on earth. But someday we will not have these same bodies, we will have new ones. These bodies will be our heavenly bodies. They will be perfect and flawless. We will not have scars and bruises. We wont have any cuts or scraps. We will no longer have pain or suffering. No more imperfections or limitations. We will be made perfect.
Dear Lord,
Thank You for our earthly bodies. Thank You that You are going to give us new bodies. Help us to care for the bodies we have now.
I pray that we will look forward to having those heavenly bodies. I pray that this week we will be safe and focus on You.
