How to make CHRISTMAS last all year.

1. Keep the joy in your soul. Happiness may come momentarily because of Christmas presents; but joy, lasting joy, comes only from receiving God's Christmas present to us.

2. Keep the praise on your lips. The angels who announced the Messiah's birth had nothing better to do than praise God. Neither do we.

3. Keep the glory in your life. God has promised us grace and glory if we live righteously. Learn from God's Word what He delights in and then do it.

4. Keep the story on your tongue. If story is important to us, if we've been changed by it, we should love to tell it.

5. Keep the Savior in your heart. There are two proper responses to the Christmas story. You can tell it to others; the shepherds did that. Or you can ponder the events in your heart; Mary did that. We should do both.
