Old Socks

When white socks are starting to wear out and they are
ready to toss out... DON'T. Save them for dusting and
polishing furniture. Slip one over your hand and yes,
now you have a  a freebie dust cloth. If you prefer,
you can coat it with a light spray of furniture
polish. Quite handy, I think, don't you?

Liquid Fabric Softener

If you have a large family a way to make a small jug of
liquid fabric softener last 2 - 3 months. Rinse out an
old spray bottle and refilled it with the liquid fabric
softener. When your clothes go in the dryer, just spray
the fabric softener in too. Three or four squirts works
really well for a load. Not only do you save a bundle,
but you recycle the spray bottle that would normally hit
the trash.
