30 Minute Escape

A manicure and a pedicure, or one without the other gives you
"you" time that aids in "getting away from it all" for a short
time...

If your days and nights are so filled, or you can't afford the
luxury of a day spa, look inside your own home for the means to
relieve stress and relax your body and mind...Your own bathtub...

Don't underestimate the benefits of a simple bath. Use your own
bathroom as your "escape room" for 30 minutes. Make sure it's
your time. Try to arrange the time so you will not be disturbed,
disrupted, or interrupted from achieving the goal...to relax

We all know how" to take a bath, but there are little tips to make
it more than just a bath. Everyone loves a hot bath, the best way,
however is to start with warm water and gradually add hot water as
your body adjusts to the temperature. Unless you are going straight
to bed after the bath, keep it less than hot because you will feel
tired afterwards if the water is too hot...

Keep the bathroom warm and cozy to maintain a comfortable room
temperature after you are done. Light some aromatic candles while
you are soaking. You see it on TV, how hard is it to light a candle?
It's all about you in that room, do what it takes to help you
enjoy your time. Use your favorite bath products...

For an added treat, if possible, while preparing your "home spa",
put a big fluffy towel in the dryer with your favorite comfy pj's,
robe, etc. Warm them up and fold them with the towel inside the
robe. When you are finished with your bath, unwrap the towel from
the robe and it will still be warm for you when you get out of the
tub, likewise with the pj's or robe...

I realize this all won't take away the stress and problems of the
world, but I guarantee it will give you at least 30 minutes for
you to take care of someone very special and important...You!
