To all CMC members,

 

     I know I do not post on here much, but I do read the posts from time to time. I just found out this week that our company, Savannah Luggage Works, may be in for some lay-offs at the end of Februrary. I am hoping and praying that the other contracts that are being lined up, or some odd jobs will come into play very soon so that there will be no lapse in work. I am 31weeks (Just over 7mos) pregnant and have no one besides myself to work and pay the bills; therefore, I need to be able to work for as long as I possibly can. I also do not know how my rent and utilities will be paid when I am off on maternity leave as our company does not have a "paid" maternity leave.

     I do have a boyfriend, who is not my child's biological father, who is in the same boat as I am due to the fact that we work for the same company.  The boyfriend before him is the father of the child, but he does not believe the child is his and is not worth fussing paternity/child support w/him for several reasons.

    I know God will provide for us as He always has, but it still doesn't make it easy not knowing what will happen.
