yes, the Lord does work miracles every day.  My father has also been diagnosed with stage 4.  His started in his esophogus, but as they explained it, this and colorectal cancer are very much the same "type" of cancer.  The fact that the Lord has kept that cancer from spreading to any other parts of his body is a miracle in itself.  He will most likely be taking the same medicine in chemotherapy that my father is now on, and they have done wonderful things to manage patient's comfort during this process.  NEVER give in to the report that there is NO hope - with God there is always hope.  The world does not understand when we decided to believe the report of the Lord, but every day choose to believe what the Lord says regarding your brother, not the Doctor's.  I will be praying for you and your family, you are about to embark on a roller coaster journey, but stand strong in the Lord and HE will see you through this storm.  God's Blessings to  YOU and YOUR's. ~~ Godsgurl
