This my own special "Fish Story":
I wanted to show my interest in a girl named Kelsey by giving her a souveinir from a recent trip.The original plan was to get her a journal and some flashy gel pens.When I arrived,the very last place I visited,had a gift shop.In it,by some fate,I saw a stuffed fish ornament.It was quaint & small,but something told me,it was just right..
</DI bought it,and brought it home.Since then,I've seen her twice.Each time,I was,or my mind was,bent on acting clever and handsome.I forgot all about the fish.Now I have reflected on it,and i realized that God is telling me something through all of this.
V>First,the journal and the pens represents impressing her,with worldly attributes,such as humor,looks,etc.The fish represents Jesus,something that may seem simple and everyday,but can mean the world to a person,and it can be a token of friendship to give Jesus to someone.
Second,
just as I was more concerned with impressing her than giving her the fish,I was more full of myself,and I should have considered giving her Jesus,instead of a big show.
