I have checked absolutely loads of webhosts sites. As I also have my own personal family groups on MSN that I have to move.
I totally agree with you that wherever this group goes it has to be SECURE And safe for all our members to go.
I have joined Multiply to see what its like .It was the only way to see what groups are like in there.
In all honesty I do not like it up to now .They do send you your own email messages ,as well as an email to say your friends have a message and their friends have messages and so on .Who needs that?
I have been a member in a group in yuku for some time now .Their boards are not too bad . The thing is you cannot do pages as we know them here .
They are more skins, and boards can be devided into sections for a variety of things .They are more like white boards or walls as in facebook ..They do have albums for pictures and things like that .
They do have groups in Yahoo and google but I personally do not like them .
There is also Fotki but I think thats more of a storage place for pics sharing .
I have heard of aimoo I think it is , but will need to check it out ...
I also think we may be wise to do as Tammy has suggested and wait until they start in November with Windows Live groups , before we make any hard and fast decision on moving anywhere.
I have read quite a bit about them and feel they may offer us something similar /or better even ,With more of an accent on chat .I am not sure but may be worth waiting to see...
If I find anything that I think would be good I will post the link here for you to check outas well .....
I am sure we will find somewhere that we will all be safe and happy ..
