A friend...Joann, just got home from the hospital sat. A few weeks ago she had the gastric bypass and not to long after she was back in the hospital b/c she can not keep food down. She now has a feeding tube and under close watch(she was in there over a week).
Her sister....Connie, just has surgery today. She has been fighting cancer and today she had both her breast removed. Joann told me that she is doing good so far. (I was helping Connie, with Joann kids while she was in the hospital).
Robbi(my close friend) just lost her nephew today, he was still born and only 2 lbs., (there are alot of questions concerning that). And two of her cousins past away thru the night. Two little boys ages 10 and 4. Their mother is in critical condition with over a third of her body burnt trying to save them.(Their house caught fire). She had her 5 yr daughter in her arms and thought the boys were right behind her. When she realized they weren't she went back in for them.
My mother called me today crying........she has to have surgery with in the next two weeks.......she really messed up her knee. The doctor said there is no other way and she needs to see a specialist right away. My mother already had an aptt. on the 13th and her doctor said that she needs to call them, they will make it sooner. She is very scared(which is understandable)to be put to sleep. Remember she is a very high risk and almost died when they did the trache?
Ok sorry if I went into to much detail but this was my day 
I know all I can do is be there for them and keep them in my prayers
but I feel so helpless not being able to help them and to see them go thru so much pain and suffering
