Ahh, all the docs are on vacation, so ya end up with a nurse pract. or a phys. asst. and they cant do chit, even tho ya pay the same as talking to the doc. So nothing was accomplished. PMO. |

 Good morning all, I'm back again, LOL...Don, I don't blame you for being PO'ed at having to see an NP or a PA, it doesn't seem right to have to see them and pay a regular fee! My Hubby hates it also, it isn't really fair I guess, so many things they can't or won't do. Although I have to say, my Family Doctor had a good NP working for him in his office at one time, she just didn't stay long enough. It was a she, and she was almost as smart as Dr Smith is...I liked her OK and she listened when you talked to her, sometimes these doctors are so busy they don't take the time to listen to you completely...Oh well, I guess they all can get away with it, although I don't know how they do! I noticed that every prescription she wrote me when she was there, had to be signed by Dr Smith also before it was valid...It's been beautiful here today too, bright sun shiny day, hot, hot, hot! For two days this week we had cloud cover with one of the days being rainy almost all day, we got 1 & 7/8 inches of rain that day! I'm not complaining though, because we really needed the rain badly, and with that much rain falling, we're still about 15 inches behind our normal rainfall for the year! It's been really bad here as far as being dry, the gardens are really suffering for it too, our tomatoes, cucumbers and squash aren't doing nearly as well as they usually do! Garry has always had a beautiful garden, but not this year, our corn isn't even making as well as it did last year! Bummer, because it was excellant last year, absolutely delicious, it was that peaches and cream kind that is so good...I hope next year is better for the gardens than this year has been... Jenny, your Peking Duck sounds wonderful, but it sounds way to fancy for me to try to fix, heck, I can't even fry a porkchop, LOL...Baking sweet things is my cup of tea in the kitchen, it's my favorite thing to do! LOL Go figure huh? Have I told you all how much I've gained lately, speaking of sweet stuff? I'm up to 125 now, or maybe even more since it's been about 3 weeks since I went to the doctor's office! I've outgrown all of my old clothes now, even some of the stuff that I had that was too big for me before my surgery is too small now! It stinks to me, but everyone seems to think I'm looking better than I've looked in awhile, it just seems like a lot to carry around to me, lmao!!! Guess I'll get used to it, I sure can't stop eating now, I've gotten used to it...OK, enough complaining for now, huh? I love you all bunches and sending out big hugs to each of you! good afternoon love,dee and carol well it's bright here not to warm but nice just the same .i have almost done with the house work .derek has gone out for the day and he won't be back for dinner so it's going to be easy for the rest of the day for me .you all seem to be having some hot weather so you enjoy it and have a good day . big hugs and kisses for you all . |

me to love .i had a long nap this afternoon and it felt so good . derek forgot his key last night and got me up at 3.00 and once i am awake thats it .i was not happy as you can guess still he is not comeing back tonight as he is staying at his mates so that makes it up . |
