Hip, hip, hurray, hello there Sharon! I'm so glad to see you here! Was beginning to worry about you, but that's me, LOL, just a worry wart as you've noticed I guess! But then all of us are when it comes to one of our own here, we do worry about each other. It may only seem like a few weeks to you Sweetie, but to us, you've been with us a long time now, ever since we started out on this board nearly...You can thank your Dad for that, he made you and your family a part of our family, that's just the way it worked out! When you take one of us, you get the whole kit and kaboodle, LOL...Anyway, glad to see you're back!
Hope everyone has had a great day, and also had a wonderful weekend! We're all just thrilled to death for our Jenny to be getting her new bathroom...If I'm not mistaken, she has been wanting it for such a long, long time. In fact, they put her in a new hallway or something like that here awhile back and she was wanting a bathroom then...So, needless to say, we're all thrilled for her to be finally getting her wish...Bless her heart, she sure does deserve it, as I've said before...It's called old timer's disease when you keep forgetting you've told something and keep on repeating yourself, LOL, hope you'll all forgive me!
OK, it's time for me to get my bootie to bed, was just wanting to know you got here and are OK before I went. Meant to get back here before now, and got lost along the way! LOL Actually, in the past ear, I've started watching TV with the "Old Man" at night, he calls it our prime time! LOL Like I don't see him all through the day as well, but need to sit and watch TV with him at night too! Guess I should be grateful he doesn't get tired of looking at me so often, huh??? LOL I love you all so much, and I'm also so grateful to just be here and be a part of this wonderful family! You all have a great and safe night tonight and day tomorrow, OK? Hey, don't feel too bad Carol, the same thing just happened to me, only it was my own fault! I fell asleep at the wheel! LOL When I did, it deleted everything I had posted! What a bummer, huh??? Ya got to hate when that happens. If I was laying down and trying to sleep, my eyes would be wide open...that's just how the ball bounces I guess!!! OK, time to quit moaning! lmao, although I'm getting pretty good at it huh??? LOL Is there such a thing as a professional whiner, I could do that???

Good evening ladies! I hope everyone's doing well this week. Thank you for the well wishes, I think they worked perfectly! I was feeling more worn out than sick I guess. Luckily rest and your well wishes were just enough :) It's true that last year I had a cold that turned into bronchitis and lasted over a month! Wow, that wasn't fun, it was just around the holidays too -- luckily none of that now!

Dee you're not at all a professional whiner, trust me I have known some (we all have I bet)-- and usually THEY have nothing to whine about LOL! Don't even worry about that, we're here to listen to the good and the bad without any judgement... You girls have demonstrated that to me and I'll always be so grateful, it's not too often you find that in people. And PS, you're right even if it's just watching TV together, be so grateful for each other - that's the lesson I've learned this year!
Yes I think this Christmas season will be a tough one Jenny, for my mom especially but even the 4 of us here. We all love this time of year In our family there are so many birthdays as well.. Mine is 3rd of Dec. (oops! slipped... lol) and various cousins, aunts, uncles too. We'll be putting that tree up proudly once again - I don't know how I'll feel at the time but I promise you it'll go up, that's for sure! I think Dad even sent you all a picture of it, right?? Maybe we should all do that this year. He'd get a kick out of that :)
Carol you'll have to introduce me to this Billy the PITA!!! lol, I remember him well actually. When I meet him in person maybe I'll give him a swift kick from all of us? :) Hope work is going well and you're getting some rest in between...

Jenny, I'm very glad to see your post! You're so right, we don't want to be worrying about our "Sweet Jenny", you know you're missed so much when you don't show up here!!! We just love you bunches Darlin', you know that too don't you??? LOL I know you do! You're the best!!! Sharon, you do know the Billy we talk about is Bill Gates don't you? Billy Boy is what your Dad called him when he'd be ticked off at him because MSN wouldn't open up for him or if he had a problem with Internet Explorer...Old Billy Boy!!! He was such a character your Dad, he kept us giggling when he was in top form! LOL A good idea about posting pictures of our trees this year, I can do that and would love to see everybody elses too! I'm a December Child too Sharon, the 12th is my biorthday, and it always aggravated me because my parents would try to tie my birthday with Christmas, LOL...Now of course it doesn't bother me, but when my oldest son was alive, his birthday was on the 19th of Dec, and I always made sure I kept his birthday separate from Christmas! I didn't want him to feel like I did! My hubby's birthday is the 4th of Dec, the day ater yours, so we're all right here together in the same month! Lucky us huh Sweetie???

good afternoon my Friends carol i hope you are ok just working and sleeping lol you must have so much to do with packing and all are you getting some help i do hope so . love i was so pleased to see you here that means you are feeling better you get plenty of sleep . dee sweetheart it's so cold here it's getting to my legs still i am not going out as i had a food delivery this morning lol i love doing that .i know it's a lazy way to do it but it helps so much and i don't spend any more as i just get what i want and am not tempted to spend more .i just want to go and change the bed then i have done for the day .i made a bacon and cheese flan this morning so thats my tea done with and new potato's and salad so i can relax .you three have a very good day and keep warm with a big hug and a kiss . |

Good evening all of you! Jenny DArlin', no law that says you have to go out no metter the weather to get your groceries! It's good that you can order them and not have to go out in bad weather! I'm thrilled for you, and would do the same thing in a minute if I could...You betcha! Besides that, you get enough excercise doing all of the things you do in your home!!! I wouldn't worry about ordering up a few groceries, who cares what anyone else thinks, right Girls? You stay inside out of the cold, relax and enjoy the warmth of your home! OK Sugar? Good for you!!!
Carol, it's probably just as well that your move has been slowed some, oyu're only a human, and can only do so much! It's amazing that you're keeping up with all your doing now, don't worry about it, it'll all be there when you do get around to it! Trust me, my stuff never runs off and leaves me, LOL, it just gets deeper and deeper all of the time, lmao...Sooner or later I wade through it all, a little at a time, it does wait on me!!! OK? Don't let it get you down Sweetheart, we sure don't you to get yourself overworked, worn out, then sick would be next! We sure don't want that to happen to you you know??? hi you all .i have had a good day and am just waiting for Derek's washing to finished as i want to get it dry so he can take it back tomorrow .i wanted to let you know that there will be a house full tomorrow as the boys want to get a bit more done to my bathroom so if i don't get on tomorrow you know why and not to worry about me . ok carol i am also pleased that you are slowing down the move a bit i am sure it will be better for you and jim .you get plenty of rest .dee sweetheart you enjoy your day with our Little one but don't try lifting him you hear me . love i hope you are doing ok there and your mom is feeling a bit better .you know we love you both as we have all said you are family and mean a awful lot to us ,right the washing is done so i need to get it dyed now .i will try and get back remember i love you all lots . |

Good evening once again everyone! I'm so glad the weekend's here, and happy to see that everyone's doing well - I'm sorry I missed you again yesterday. We had a small scare with Mom's foot though everything is really fine. Her doctor was being cautious and thought she may have a small blood clot in her foot - mainly due to the cold weather hitting and sometimes if she's out and about too long her foot gets a little swolen and red. Normal for her, but the doc. wanted to be sure so she went and had the tests done - it's okay as we suspected. She still has to keep the toes warm as much as possible, but that's not so bad! :) I'm okay too -- happy that I can sleep in tomorrow :-)
Jenny enjoy your full house ! It may be hectic but having your boys around must be fun too ... thanks for letting us know, and for the sweet thoughts of us over on this side of the pond ... you mean so much to us too, really! Oh and the grocery delivery - it's a wonderful idea especially in the bad weather!! I've got to look into that for us huh?
Carol, I'm glad too to hear that you're moving is being done slowly, very smart thing to do. Don't want to be so worn out that you can't UNpack afterwards lol... I hope everything keeps going smoothly for you, just take it in stride. OH, and as soon as this is done I will get up to the occasions as add me in :)

I had a wonderful day with our "Little Man" yesterday now it is! He was such a treasure to have around. Guess what else??? As soon as him and Jamie got here yesterday AM, Jamie said that Nolan had asked for us everyday that he didn't get to come this past week, LOL, isn't that just the sweetest thing you've ever heard? Well, it was to me, it was precious for me to hear! I hate it that the poor little guy missed us so bad, but at the same time, it did my heart good too! You know what I mean? I'm glad yo know he won't forget us so quickly now, I guess it's because he's older, huh? I know, I'm making more out of it than I should I guess, but it just made me feel so good...I know we sure did miss him too, everyday that he wasn't here after being used to him coming! Anyway, I just had to share that with you all! I loved it! OK, I'll quit going on about it now! I love you all so much, and send each of you big hugs!
