Good evening Sweet Ladies! I agree with you Carol, LOL, it was surely time to start another thread wasn't it??? That one was getting pretty full, so I'm the culprit! LOL It's been a long, but easy day for me today too, glad that you all have gotten to rest for the day!!! It always helps us to get a better start on the next week when we get our rest out on Sunday, doesn't it???

As Carol says, you just take care of yourself and get well for us please!! WE don't want our Sweet Jenny to be sick, especially with a bad head, those things are unbearable all right! Carol, I said I was teasing you Sweetie, I can't imagine anything being any nicer than where you are, it's gorgeous there and has so many things for you all to do too! good morning my Friends .i just wanted to let you know i am up .i am not doing a lot today as i still feel woolly headed lol but better than i did this one was a bad one thank goodness i don't have them to often .i am glad that i was on my own .the kids did ring to check though . well how are you all doing i hope you are feeling as well as you can .carol you know we love you and would never want anything but the best for you .dee and sharon how is the weather there it's a nice day here not warm but Sunny and that makes a difference .ok coffee time for me and a bite to eat .big hugs and kisses to you all .i will be back . |

I hate to hear you're having one of those bad migraine headaches, so it always makes it good news when it's nearly over for you!! Oh yeah!!! It makes us all glad to know that your youngins' call to see about you, we don't worry about you as much knowing they are OK!!
Jenny, the weather here has been being as I said, it's been cold, but from the inside looking outside, lt looks quite nice and warm with the sun shining so warmly!!! It doesn't feel near as well as it looks, but makes for a beautiful looking day...

good evening my Friends well it's been a quiet day here the two of us haven't done much thats jay and me she is a old lady as i am lol .i have just potted about a bit .it's been a funny day with the weather it was very Windy and we had some snow not a lot then it turned to rain then at lunch time the sun came out but still cold so i had a food delivery for the weekend that means i will not be going out lol i don't think .so how are you all doing .carol i am so happy for you and jim it sounds as if you have found the perfect place for you both .there is nothing like being happy with your home . dee sweetheart how are you .i hope you are not getting worried about your impending op please don't you are going to be fine we are with you all the way .you know we love you very much .sharon how are you love and how is your mom i think about her a lot and send her lots of love ok i better go and get some searching done for derek he has changed his car and wants me to look for some forms for him on line . love you all and sending big hugs . |

Hi my friends!! Oh I've missed you 3 a whole whole bunch this past week - - - :( Everything's fine just that I started school again so twice a week I'm gone for about 14 hours! :( Can't wait to have another weekend... why am I doing this to myself lol...
CAROL, ohhhhhh... :((( I'm so so very sorry to hear about your beloved doggie, my prayers are going out to you and your husband.. I just can't imagine the saddness. You don't have to talk about it, I don't blame you! But I'm thinking about you tonight and sending you my love.. **hugs**
Jenny and Dee I've still got some posts to catch up on but I just first wanted to say 'hi' to you 3. Jenny I hope by now your headache is gone by now since you posted today too! I know those kind can make you feel terrible - my friend has to lay in the dark whenever she gets a migraine, ugh! Dee I laughed when you said "sitting at my throne"! LOL I thought of the bathroom first, then I said NO she can't be typing from the bathroom!! :-D The weather here is cold and we're about to get some rainy icy wintry weather tomorrow! oh well, at least it's Feb tomorrow and we're that much closer to spring right?? Good morning my good friends!! Was so tickled to see everyone of us has posted in the last 24 hours, it's absolutely a great thing to see! It is ladies, isn't it? It doesn't happen to often anymore, it seems as if there is at least one of us missing in action each day, so I'm telling you, it's just a wonderful thing to see!!! (Ah shucks, I'm such a sentimental person, huh? More like a senile person, huh? LOL lmao) OK, enough of this tom foolery!
Jenny Darlin', glad to see you're feeling better and enjoying some down time with your best buddy, LOL...I'll bet it's made her feel extra special too! I know exactly how you feel about your Jay Jay, we all love our little 4 legged friends! Speaking of which, it's been awhile since I updated you all on our goat population hasn't it? Well, we've had a grand addition to our little herd, LOL, almost all of our Nannies have had a set of twins...Since the loss of our little Buttons, we haven't lost anymore, thank goodness! I've lost track of how many exactly we have now, but I'd say about 16 total, counting a single to go with the twin that was left after Buttons died...It's a beautiful sight to look out in the field and see all of the kids playing out there around their Mothers and with each other...Especially in hte cold weather, they get out there and run, romp and play together, just as cute as they can be...There are so many different colors to see this year! As soon as I get a good chance, I'll take a picture of as many of them as I can catch together in one place and put it on here for you all to see! They're just so precious, you'll see! OK, enough rambling!
Carol Sweetie, so sorry to hear about your baby...I know exactly how you feel Sugar, I felt the same way, OK? I'm keeping you in my thoughts, and sending you one big special hug!!! Ahhhhhh!!! Bless your heart!!!
Sharon, oh my goodness, 14 hours in one day! No wonder you haven't had time to play any, you're working your life away there! I know it's an effort to do better for yourself and everyone has that desire! We're proud of you Sweetie, just be careful and don't wear yourself out, OK? It'll all be worth it when you're finished, I know that! Just take it a day at a time and do the best you can, we're right there with you and giving you all the encouragement we can send your way!!! I'm with you Dee, if I had an electric blanket I'd be buried under it right now LOL! absolutely... even though it warmed up here just a little bit, not enough for my liking. About 43 degrees here today, and cloudy even though they promised us some sunshine.. Oh, could you take some pictures of the goat herd?? That would be so cute to see.. You know it's so different here, although we have some beautiful farmland up about 10-15 miles north of us, I just love the idea of seeing the animals playing and frolicking right out the window. I'll have to come for a visit someday Dee LOL!
I've got a lot of washing to do and Chris is out to lunch with one of his friends - that makes for a nice afternoon inside for me. Jenny and Carol I hope you're also enjoying your Saturday and keeping warm on top of it. Hi Sharon, a gal after my own heart you might say! LOL I love a quiet day at home all by myself, there's nothing like it in this world for getting things done! Is there?? I know since hubby has retired, I can't get diddle done with him here at the house watching TV, or whatever he chooses to do while in the house...It's sooooooo frustrating for me, and it looks like I'm not alone with those feelings, huh?? Yeah, I'm glad to know that! Ya know I love him, but I love him more at a distance sometimes...lmao Jenny and Carol, I hope it's Billy Boy keeping you all away and not that you're sick or something! You know how we all are to worry about each other, this is two days now you all have not been in here! Everyone needs a break now and then, but I miss you and want to know that you're doing all right, OK? OK Sharon, as soon as it warms up, or even if I can get a chance to catch all the babies and their mama's up close to the gate out here in the field closer to the house, I'll get a few pictures and post them on here for a few days so you can see them...They are precious as they can be, you ought to see them out here frolicking and playing together, they're so cute together...I'll sure do my best to get them for you, OK Sweetie? Besides that, our farm is so pretty up here on this hill, away from anyone else. In the spring and summer time, you can't even see our house from the main road that goes by the house! We have a small creek on either side of the house too, that separates us from anyone elses place, it's just beautiful. Of course right now, with no leaves on the trees, and it being brown from the cold weather, it's npot near as pretty, but it's still home and beautiful to me...I guess I'm just a tad prejudiced, but I've never seen a place as pretty as I think this one is. We don't have a mansion on the hill or anything like that, but like I said, it's home and comfortable to me! Wow, looks like I've got carried away as usual, LOL, sorry about that, but I do love to chat with you all, even if it means typing it all, LOL! Oh, and as for you visiting, y'all come as they say in the south, you're more than welcome to visit if you'd like too, OK? I love you all lots and lots, sending you big hugs to go with the love too! good morning my Friends .i am sneaking in wile everyone are still in bed .sorry dee i did try to get a post up yesterday but when the kids stay for the weekend i can't get near my putter lol anyone would think thy haven't got one at home but for some reason thy take over mine . i do love having then but am always glad when thay go back to there own place .thy are so untidy but don't tell them that Lol .i think it's just that i am used to being on my own all week and it's nice and tidy then .thy are going home this afternoon so i will have ian then but he is cooking so i can get the house back to normal . i am feeling pretty good now so that helps .it's still cold here and i feel as if i have been hibernating this week as i haven't been out at all so i will see what it's like tomorrow and i might get out if we don't get any more snow yes we had some but it didn't last long .sharon don't do to much wile you are on your own get some rest before you start another week .carol were are you as dee said we hope you are just busy and not sick again .ups i hear movement upstairs thy will be down for breakfast soon so i will leave you for now but i am sending you all a big hug to keep you warm and lots of kisses . |

Hi everyone! I just sent you the email "4 things about me" - very cute, those emails are a lot of fun - you get to learn something about each person :)
It is COLD cold cold here even though it was nice and sunny during the day. I accidentally left one of the bedroom windows open earlier and forgot about it (was calling at one of the dogs in the yard!).... oops! Then I kept wondering why I felt such a draft in the hallway lol. Typical, my memory is terrible with things like that. ugh! :)
I definitely slowed down today, I have to say thanks for the advice lol it was well taken... there was not much to do today except cook dinner so it was a relaxing end of the weekend. Hope you each had the same kind of day - Sundays are good for that! Jenny I'm glad to hear your feeling good !! You are just like me, I like to tidy up when no one is home so it doesn't get messed up so quickly! :-P
Carol I read what you said about electric blankets - that's terrible about Crystal's home! It makes you think twice huh... Maybe a bunch of regular blankets will do the job just as well, or I should stop being so stingy and turn up the heat really high lol... I hate getting the gas bill in the winter! I'm used to having the heat and hot water paid for, and last winter I was in for the shock of my life :-O Especially bad when you leave windows open hahaha!!!!
oh well...... I'm happy to see you 3 today - I always feel good after coming here and gabbing :) The next day or two will be kind of busy again but even if I don't get here as soon as i want to, know I'm thinking about you 3 and sending warm hugs over in each of your directions tonight. love you all ~~sharon~~ |

Good evening sweet ladies, it's so nice to see all of you have posted today! The weekend finally got us all together didn't it? LOL Whatever did it, I'm pleased that it did. It's great to see everybody and to know that you're all doing OK! My Pop brought me up a new keyboard the other day, and the new of it is wearing me out, LOL, I'm used to the keys sticking on my old one, and this one, you barely have to touch the letters and it types, it's quite confusing, LOL. I'll get used to it I guess, it'll just take time...
Sharon, you're right about the heating bills, especially this time of year, ours is electric and gas, electric runs it until it gets down to 40 degrees I think it is, then the gas kicks in when it gets really cold outside. So, it runs up both our gas and electricity here when it's cold...But anyway, all of that just to agree with what you said about leaving that window open...I'll bet it didn't help your utility bill any, did it? Oh well, as my oldest son used to say, "_ _ it" happens! That was one of his favorite sayings when things went a little off key! LOL I hope the open window won't hurt you too badly anyhow Sweetie! Jenny Darlin', you did have a houseful this weekend didn't you? I kind of envy you that, we don't see our son except when he drops Nolan off for us to keep whichever day we keep him anymore...It kind of hurts my feelings, but then again, I try to understand that they are both so busy, and they enjoy what little time they have at home with their baby boy, I'm sure! I can't blame them for that now, can I?? I'd be the same way with mine, guess I was to a point...I'm sure that you do enjoy seeing your children, you don't get to see some of them very often anyway! I know you do enjoy Ian, aznd getting a day off in the kitchen once in awhile, that always makes it nice for you too, doesn't it Sweetie? Carol, I hope you're beginning to feel a little bit better, it'll take some time though I know, to get completely over it, it's been quite some time now for me and my baby, and I still miss his adoring brown eyes. I'm not saying it to make you feel bad, just to let you know, I do know how you feel Sweetie. It does get some better with time though, OK?
