Hi ladies, sure, I can start a new thread...I think you're right Sharon, we do need a new one all right, the other one is quite full enough and it makes it harder to find the end each night...So, here we go, let's fill up another one, in fact, I'm going to give it my best shot right now...LOL
It was wonderful to see so many posts on the last of the last thread we had, just great!!! It was full of information too such ideas from our Jenny too...I think your idea is great Sweetie, nothing wrong with that idea at all Sweetheart, nothing at all, you go for it...It ought to make it work out beautifully...
I've already put up a huge post on our other place about our garden etc, so I won't get into that again, LOl...I don't want to bore you all to tears here, lmao, not at all...But I did so enjoy reading about your garden Sharon, then got over here and found all of this about Jenny's garden too and her plans to make her tomatoes work...I can't help but believe it will work out really well for you Jenny, a splendid idea to say the least!! I'm going to be keeping our "Little Man" tonight, Friday Night, while Jamie and Adrienne got out to a movie and to eat! I'm really glad to get to see the little stinker, since we haven't seen him since last Sunday...I hope I can come up with an idea to fix for our supper that will entice the little guy to eat something, that's the only thing that bothers me about him being here at mealtime...He's so curious about what he eats, I'm always afraid I won't have anything he'll eat...Guess if he's hungry enough, he'll eat whatever I put on the table won't he? It won't matter will it??? LOL OK Ladies, I've done it again, rambled on enough haven't I??? I love you all lots and lots and sending each one of you a big old hug a piece, OK??? Dee I had no idea there was even more than one hummingbird!! I wonder which kind I saw, but but doesn't much matter it was very cute once I realized it wasn't a big insect LOL! Hope your having nice weather there too it's been sunny and about 80F for the last couple days and of course heaven for me and the garden! Our "taters" our sprouting lol, I didn't think they ever would.... any idea how they grow??? (up, down, out, in??) I guess I could scour the internet but right now too lazy. :-P Jenny hope your resting your eyes and that's the reason you haven't been on, or else you're busy busy again which is just fine! Either way hope you had a wonderful day today . . . not much else going on here for a change so I'm taking advantage of it :) Love you 3 a whole bunch and will talk to you soon! love, sharon |

Good evening to everyone...Carol, it's good to know you're OK, just tired out...I was afraid of that, bet you're sleeping like a baby aren't you Sweetie??? Just good to know you are doing all right...We know you're busy with work and taking care of your Aunt's business and all, just take care and don't overdo yourself, OK?? We love you lots too! Sharon, on your taters, let the plants grow, and when they start dying back, it means your taters are ready to dig, you'll find your bounty of taters underneath the dying plants...Be careful when you go to dig them, they are easy to cut into and damage, Garry uses a pitchfork to dig his with, it cuts down on the damage caused, OK? If you use a shovel, just do it easy and you'll be OK! You'll find all sizes of potatoes, big ones and smallones alike, and they're thin skined too...Nothing as good as home grown potatoes, honest injun! LOL Even the little ones are good boiled whole, kind of mashed up on your plate and add butter/margarine and pepper, yummy...Of course butter and pepper is to my taste, you'll probably like a little salt and pepper both on yours, huh?? LOL Gonna have to call you farmer Sharon, huh?? You go woman, great work growing your own garden and having fresh vegies isn't it??? I know you're going to really enjoy having them! What other vegies do you have in your garden Sweetie?? Nosey old bat aren't I??? LOL
Yes Sweetie, there are many different types of hummingbirds, the one you saw was probably a ruby throated hummingbird, the male is a dark green with a cream colored breast and tail, and he'll have a ruby red spot on his neck, well, his chin if you can call it that! LOL The female is just plain, she's a paler green and has a spotty pale green and cream colored chest on her, best I can describe them, sorry! But I'm guessing that's what you saw, it's the only one we have in this part of the country, all of the prettier ones are in the warmer climates...One of these days!!! LOL Guess you can tell, I'm a bird lover in general, I love all birds, but my most favorite ones are the hummers...OK, I love you all lots and lots and sending you big hugs...Nite nite for now, Dee... |

hi you all i am very well and all is good with my eyes .i went back yesterday and she said see you in a year lol so thy must bee ok .i was on the run all day monday but it's raining like heck today so i am staying in and am board . carol as the others said you do what you have to do and don't worry about us we love you sweetie . sharon i don't know anything about veg growing i am more into flowers in tubs .the ground is very hard were i am so not much grows in it and veg is so cheep it's not Worth growing them but good luck with yours . dee sweetheart i wish we had hummer's here but i guess it's to cold for them .i do feed my birds and love watching them fighting over the food .i have to tell you i ordered a parasol and base for my new outside table now all i want is the sun then i can sit outside and have my lunch out side .i have to be careful not to stay in the sun to long but think this will work . when i get it and the sun is out i will take a pic for you . ok this is a long one for me so i will just say that i love you all lots and you all have a good day . |

hi me again twice in the day lol .i have been making some fat balls for the birds can't you tell i was board .i hope i did it right .i put some oats ,seed ,sultans ,nuts coconut and chopped apples in and then added melted lard and bacon fat .thy are in the fridge .dee you know a lot about doing this have i done it right . |

Good evening to all that get by here! Wow Jenny, twice in one day, you're so right! Not the usual for you is it? IU'm glad to see you posting as always though, especially twice!!! I love it...I'll be looking forward to seeing the picture of your table with the parasol over it, I know it'll be so pretty and will be a lovely addition to your garden...It'll make it wonderful for you to have a nice, and quietb place for you to sit out, in the shade too, how wonderful for you...We'll all be awaiting the picture of it! As for your suet for the birds, that's what it is called Sweetie, and there's no way you can mess it up...They'll love it I'll bet you...I make my suet up with lard, peanut butter, oats, cornmeal, flour and sugar...You can add bird seeds and/or sunflower seeds, anything you'd like too really....That's why I said, there's no way to put the wrong thing in it I don't think...It will sure add some heat for their bodies to their diet having the suet you made for them...I know you have Starlings, don't you, I don't know if you have them now or not though...I think they come over here during the summer months don't they? What other kinds of birds do you have over there?? I'd love to know more about the ones you enjoy! We have so many different varieties here, I just love all of them, watching them eat, fight over the food, LOL, anything they do! Right now, I have a nest of Jenny Wrens on my front porch, this is their second brood already, it's so precious to watch them, feeding the babies, and then watching as the Mama Wren encourages the babies to leave the nest, LOL...Both the Mama and Daddy Wren take care of the babies, feeding them and keeping the nest cleaned out etc...Amazing! OK, I know, I've done it again haven't I??? Wind bag! LOL I love you all lots and send you big huge hugs...Nite nite for noew, Dee... |

PS Jenny Sweetie, I wanted to tell you also, that keeping the suet in the fridge is the best place to keep it...OK??? You did very good in what you made for them...I know they'll be very pleased to get it...
Sharon and Carol, I also meant to say howdy to you two too, and I got carried away talking about my Jenny Wrens...LOL You can't tell that I love my bird babies can you?? LOL Nah, you sure can't!!! LOL Love you all!! |

hi my Friends well i have had a brilliant day i got my work done Early and spent the afternoon out in the garden doing nothing lol i got my parasol and base .the base was missing a plug so i couldn't.t fill it up but thy are sending another one .it felt like i had a weeks Holiday as it was such a lovely day so quiet and the sun is still out .the fat balls went down like lightning thy loved them and i was just sitting and watching then so close .i do hope that you all have a wonderful day as well my heart is singing lol and full of love for my three best Friends . |

LOL Hope you're all doing as well as Jenny sounds like she is...I'm so glad you're enjoying yourself so much Jenny, you deserve it more than anyone else I know...It's wonderful to see you posting about feeling so good and being so happy, here's a wish it continues to be so good for you Sweetheart!!! Also glad your birds are enjoying the suet you made, they love it here too...Garry only puts out one brick a day of it, they eat it up so fast it's not funny! In the winter time when it's really cold outside, we put more of it, they need it then especially to give them body heat! I'm so proud of you Jenny for making that for your birds, it's so good for them...
Carol, I'm so glad you're doing so well on your job and are still liking it as you do!!! You sure fell into a wonderful job, getting paid to rest even, not everybody can say that can they?? You keep up the good work girl...
Sharon, hope you are doing OK, know you are just so busy with everything you have going on right now!!! We'll look for you when we see you posting, OK?? Good evening to all who stop by to visity and even to those that don't, just a farther ways to send it, lmao!!! Carol, it's good to see your post again, abd can just imagine how much you think of those kids...Everybody loves children, and the special ones are even more special to deal with...It takes a special type of person to deal with kids that are handicapped, or I think it does anyway! Some people wouldn't be able to handle the job at all, ya know it?? Always knew you had that special touch about you!!! Just take care and enjoy it, oK?

good afternoon to my pals i was going to try and get here earlier but we are having some thunder and lightning so i will be quick .i am well and feeling good .the weekend is mine as derek has gone on a stag weekend with our Friend and 10 others .i have just about got all my plants in lol well till i see something Else i like trouble is i have run out of pots to put them in .i have gone a bit mad this year. ups here it comes again .i Will be back later if it goes away remember i love my three best Buddy's . |

Good morning to all! Jenny, you have gone a bit wild with your garden this year haven't you? Isn't it wonderful?? I'll bet it's going to be just beautiful too isn't it? I love flowers too Jenny, it's just been a long, long time since I was able to get out and work in my flower beds, they're about taken over with weeds...I was out there for just a few minutes yesterday and did manage to pull up a few of the nasty buggers, LOL...I'm way behind, but it's already to hot out there to be out too long...I just can't take the sun when it's like that! It's been a being 90 degrees out there by mid morning, can you believce it. already? It looks like we're going to be in for a long, hot summer, I should say, another long, hot summer, huh? Whew! You enjoy your flowers Sweetie, I'm waiting to see a picture of everything you've gotten done to it this summer, OK?
