Morning Ladies! Sharon Sweetheart, I hope silence in this case is good news, since you haven't gotten back on and I haven't seen any news, I'massuming that you all are OK! Hope the tornado passed over your area and there was no damage done from winds or anything...We'll be waiting to see a post from you as soon as you are able to do so!!!
I have thought about trying that Hughes net, but I've been told it's quite expensive, and when you're on a fixed income, you do the best you can do! Right? Sometimes I think the fast service would be worth it, but then when I think of things I might havbe to give up to get it, it isn't! So, I'm torn between two lovers and feeling like a fool! LOL Gotcha! Really, I do have some things I don't want to give up, like being able to buy my "Little Nolan" a toy or some cheap thing I see I want to get him, or even having a cell phone just in case, just to be able to have a little speed when I get online! If I did a lot of important things on here, like if it was a part of a job or something, I would consider it, but I use my connection for pure pleasure, and can't see paying $50.00 or more a month for service, not when I get it pretty good for $14.95...LOL That leaves me quite a bit for love toys etc, see? The way the economy is going, it may come down to it being a meal on the table instead of love toys etc, but so far it isn't that bad yet! I can live with a slow connection for those reasons! LOL Besides, I keep thinking it will all go down in the near future, it's getting to be pretty common stuff now for anyone to be on the internet, it has to get cheaper sooner or later, don't you think???
I'm so proud of you to read that you are cooking up a storm, cooking and baking are my first love, although I'm failing in the cooking department some right now, I don't do near like some of the good and different things I used to do! I used to cook Italian, Mexican, Chinese, just anything different, but don't have the enrgy to do that anymore, now it's mostly just baking, sweet stuff like cookies, cakes and breads, yum! Now, those are my specialties, lmao! I don't hear many complaints though, not out of my family anyway!!
