sharon's applesauce raisin cake .

                                    2 cups dark brown suger .

                                     1 cup butter .

                                       2 1/2 cups flour.

                                         2 cups applesauce.

                                           1 cup of raisins or sultanas.

                                              1 cup nuts .

1 teasp soda   .1teas cinnamon,   1 teas nutmeg.   1/4 teas salt.

                                  directions

cream butter and sugar.  add applesauce ,raisins and nuts if useing then .i have to leave them out .sift flour soda and spices together and add to mixture. gradually beat after each  additon.pour into greased 9insh pan and bake for 30 mins at 375 deg .
