I'd say that any recipe you've adapted and made your own is fine, if you've copied something out of a book from a famous chef, just put what book and who's recipe it is.  We wouldn't want anyone copying the whole of someones book on here lol, but one or two with credit given should be fine.  Most recipes are universal anyway, you make them your own by changing this and that (thats what most of them did anyway lol) so just write it how you made it.

If you make something from a recipe book and then place the recipe on the site, just to stop any infringments it would be advised to add the name of the book .
If you have made something of your own sure add that recipe for all us to share and if you like add your name also to the page :)

Yeah, nearly every recipe is taken from somewhere, including all in the books you read.  I'd say that any recipe you've adapted and made your own is fine, if you've copied something out of a book from a famous chef, just put what book and who's recipe it is.  We wouldn't want anyone copying the whole of someones book on here lol, but some with credit given should be fine.  Most recipes are universal anyway, you make them your own by changing this and that (thats what most of them did anyway lol) so just write it how you made it. If you're not sure where you got it, don't worry, there are so many recipes for the same thing, you can't say they belong to any one person.
