another mayo recipe
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1 tsp salt
- dash of tabasco sauce
- 1 1/2 TBSP vinegar
- 1 1/2 TBSP lemon juice
- 1/2 cup olive oil
Put egg, mustard, salt, tobasco, vinegar and lemon juice in blender. Have oil ready in a measuring cup.
Turn on blender and let it run for a second. Pour in oil in a very thin stream. The mayo will thicken before your eyes. Store in a tightly covered jar in the fridge.
Makes 1 cup........................can double or triple ingredients to make more.
