Connie’s Café Dried Beef Dip

2 small or 1 large jar of Dried Beef – soak in Ice water for 30 mins

1 cup of Sour Cream

1 cup of KRAFT Mayonnaise

1 green pepper seeded and sliced

1 med onion sliced

Directions:

Drain beef and pat dry.

In a Food Processor container place Beef, Onion and Green pepper and chop fine; then add in sour cream and mayonnaise and whirl till blended. Place in a storage container overnight in Refrigerator to let flavors combine. Serve with rippled potato chips or use cream cheese instead of sour cream and pipe into mini baked phillo cups. For a change of pace I have also added in chopped nuts what ever I’ve had on hand. This is 1 recipe that has stood the taste of time and has been made for several well to do folks in my state when I’ve had to cater a party. I have tried it with other types of mayonnaise and it’s NOT as good but you can make it with low fat or fat free Kraft Mayo and Also low fat or fat free sour cream. I hope you like it as much as everyone else that has tired it does.
