This is a recipe that my mom fixes a few times a year. We all love it, the more mozzerella cheese you put on it the better it is. Yum-O!!! ~Mom's Noodle Casserole~ -
12 oz dry elbow macaroni -
2 green bell peppers, cut into strips -
4 onions, cut into strips -
1 tsp garlic salt -
1 big can mushrooms, sliced -
2 can tomatoes -
2 lb hamburger -
Mozzerella cheese, shredded, enough to cover top of casserole and more if you want Cook macaroni according to directions. Drain. Cook peppers, onions, mushrooms and garlic salt in skillet of medium heat till soft. Mix pepper mixture with macaroni noodles. Let sit. Cook hamburger. Drain and rinse. Put back in skillet and add tomatoes and heat till it's hot them our over macaroni/pepper mix. Pour all into a big casserole dish. Put Mozzerella cheese on top, put in oven and bake at 350 degrees just untill cheese melts. |
