God of new beginnings, we praise you on this Thanksgiving Sunday not only for all the blessing in our lives, but for the way you give us second chances on this pilgrimage of faith.  Help us to be mindful of when you open a window of grace in our lives that we may respond in joy, love and faithfulness in our relationships with family, friends and strangers.  Like the parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus help us to recognize that how we treat others on a daily basis has eternal consequences.  As we gather to give you thanks and praise on Thanksgiving, help us to live every day with an attitude of gratitude.  In Jesus name�?Amen.
