| Good Morning Ladies, I can hear the rain on the roof so I think I will just set here and have a few chocolates..not!! I am trying to lose some weight, but it is so hard to lose weight when you get my age. I think my metabolism has quit working. I lost 12 lbs in Sept. but nothing since. I feel better than I did, but I need to lose at least 20 more. Don't know if I will make it or not. Stay warm you ladies north of the border. Hugs, Queenie |

Morning Queenie.Gee thats a great start Queenie, keep up the good work.Its best if it comes off slowly, and cutting back on a few things here and there will make a big difference long term. I have to get back on the threadmill and stop the munchies! I had lost almost 40 pounds and now its creeping back on.Its hard when you live to eat! Ha! Good luck! Cape |

The winter started time time last year went clear thru to May so six months.I love the summer here in July & Aug we hit in the 100's (45 or 46C) I soak up every piece of sun I can lol The living room in our house was a railroaders cabing back in pioneer days.I sit sometimes & wonder what his winter was like in the tiny cabin Hugs PamGL |

Good evening Queenie, Yes I have been busy, you'd think that would help with the weight loss wouldn't you, but no! I think 12lbs is a very good loss indeed, it's taken me since August to lose 8! I'm an all or nothing girl where chocolate is concerned, and just lately Tony and I have got into the habit of having a bar every evening with a cup of tea or coffee. He asked tonight where was the chocolate, I said no more, he's gaining an inch or two aswell! Hope it's stopped raining for you, it eased off here late afternoon, but it's very windy now. Hi Queenie, Its 1pm & I am listening to the rain hit the window pane. I spent the morning cleaning the house. I have a self cleaning oven so Ihave that going , Robin manages to spill more stuff in my oven however doesnt ever seem to clean it up. Ilove the rain, seems to be so soothing. Paula |
