CR is now out of surgery. Been in there for almost two and half hours. Krisha just got to go back to see the doctor. Will have to wait to see what he has to say. I'm on my laptop but the speed of the internet is slower than dialup. I've been able to read some things but it's really slow trying to get things to pop up. Hope everyone is having a descent day. Will pick up Trayton and Avery when we leave here and then they will stay the night. It's been a long day but that's part of life. Hugs, Raven |

Krisha just came out. The doctor had to remove part of CR's rib to get to the kidney and he said CR would be in excruciating pain tomorrow because they cut the rib and he is very muscular (no fat) and he had to cut through all that muscle as well. The tube in the kidney was being blocked by a huge blood vessel as well as it being very small. So he will be in recovery for another couple hours and then he will go to his room. The doctor said tomorrow will really be rough on him and they will use lots of pain meds Hugs, Raven |

Gosh Raven! A huge lump came in my throat as I tried to read through your post. I've been tied up all day today, but needed to come check in to see how CR was and if he was through his surgery yet. I'll continue those prayers for him. Sounds like his recovery will go well.... but quite painful. Get some rest Raven, and leave the rest to God's healing powers. Hugs and Prayers, Scherry |

It is good to hear that at least this part of it is behind him. I know he is really going to suffer but I think he will be man enough to get himself through. Its is something, the amount of pain and suffering this old body can take and still come back and lead a very productive life. I am really going to be praying for him. And I promise not to whine about the petty little pains that I put up with. I hope you have a restful night. At least you can send the children to school tomorrow. Hugs Butchie |
