Belles I remember that so well, and kudos for jack's cousin taking the picture and making everyone aware! It just baffles my mind at the disrespect in this country! At the ceremony we attended, , as they played our national anthem, i looked into the crowd to see dozens of men, with their ball caps on.I am appalled that on a day like this people can be so disrespectful! I know at hocket games alot of people don't remove their hats and continue to talk and whatnot when the athem is played but on Remembrance day, give me a break...I honestly felt like going over and telling them to get those hats off thir heads! It was a very nice ceremony, but was it cold, just aout froze and I was bundled to the ears! Al stood with his airborne blazer, medals and maroon beret .He said cold, is all a state of mind! Yeah right!
Then we went for lunch with Jim and the kids, now we are home, Al is watching the celebrations on tv from Ottawa and then he'll probably move on to his old war movies!
