Who in this group feed birds. What kind birds do have at your feeder? What food do you put out? I have a variety of seeds plus cracked corn. For the first time in my life I got to see a Scarlet Tanger and Baltimore oriole. There not native to Iowa. I am blessed to have my feeders, cardinals, wrens, woodpecker, nuthatches. assorment of sparrows, turkeys, red winged black birds, bluejays are  just few that are at my feeders. As summer approaching I will have humming bird and gold finches. Hugs! I care. puzzler

Hi Puzzler, I love feeding my hummingbirds in the summer.  They are such facinating little birds.  I also feed the finches, red birds, wrens and titmice and nuthatches.  I usually put out niger seed or sunflowers in the winter months, plus a suet box for them.

Hugs,
Raven

I have a bird feeder out year round.  We get a lot of bluejays, swallows and sparrows.  We the hummingbirds but not as many as we use to.  This year I planted several new flowers and bushes and looked for ones that were attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies.

We like to feed our birds, we just buy a bag of bird food at the walmart, and I know we get all different kinds, I dont know my birds to well but we do have robins, ravens, crows, and also small birds, colorful ones, finches, and some wood pecker. so that's all i know I love the red head birds we get they are small, we have a couple feeders, we use for them. They love our tree's in our front yard too.

I glad to see there others like the birds as much as I do. Have you  noticed how bird seed has gone up? But there worth it for the joy they give me. I have humming birds late in the summer. They sure cute and move fast. I have dead tree that needs to be cut down but I do not do it because it is  a home for many  wild life and birds.
