There seems to be so much negativity these days about the various 'stars' and their lives.  Is it not time we had something positive for a change, or would that be watched???
Positive news could be ordinary folk doing good in their lives. I saw an item of a goose that had been injured, it was looked after by a lady. Now that goose will not leave her, it even flies beside her car.  I would rather see that than all those poor little children being dragged around by their 'famous' parents.

I agree there is way too much negativity in the news and in the media in general.  I would much rather see a positive program than all the crap out there.  I have not had the tv on hardly at all lately, just so sick of the garbage.  Who cares what the so called 'celebreties' are up to. There is a lot more out there in real life. Boots

I AGREE !  I went today with our pastor to do a church servcie for the people in a rest home here in our area. I had not been in this one for sometime and was so amazed at the people who were now in this home.It felt so good to sing and play for people and see a smile and hear laughter from their ageing bodies. Some were with us and some were not but when I touched several of the little ladies on the shoulder and said hello they smiled.I felt warm all over and I hope when I am in one of these should that happen that there will be a smile for me on a dreary day. I shall go there more often and add it to my rest home and assisted living places I visit. It felt good to put myself aside.
What a lonely life that must be day after day.
Well that's all. Yes there ARE some positive thing's out there.
hugs

What a lovely post. My father is 89 years old and still lives alone in his condo about two miles from me. I see him almost daily, sometimes he drives over my house, we still talk and joke. he is very hard of hearing but i just talk loud.

Yes, it is sad to be lonely, old, and with ailments.  Hope you continue to go to the home. Once you see what you can do to brighten one's day; you find yourself wanting to go as it makes you feel so much better to brighten one's day. Actually, they are doing you the favor.
