I agree with you Carol.  My daughter gets so upset when she takes her little girls out to buy clothes.  Thankfully, she is very strict with them and will not allow them to wear things that are so provocative. 
I remember last Halloween, she had a hard time finding a "cute" costume for the girls.
Let kids be KIDS!  Why are the designers in such a hurry for them to grow up?  If the parents would stick together on this and refuse to buy such trash, perhaps they would stop designing such stuff.
