This is for all the sick and suffering people today.
For Scherry and her family, for a friend who has just lost her husband, a church friend who has leukemia, and for my favourite neice who has unoperable lung cancer...at the age of 56.
Dear Father, thank you for the Holy Spirit who helps us remember and trust Jesus.  Thank you for your peace that sustains us in every storm. In his name we pray.
Amen

Dearest Heavenly Father, there is so much sickness in this world and I ask that you bless and put your hands upon each and everyone of them.  Please be with Maggie's niece, you are the great physician and all we have to do is believe - yes believe that you will deliver her from this cancer.  I ask that you be with Maggie's friend who has lost her dear husband.  Lift her up and give her strength to endure the days ahead.  Be with Maggie's church friend who has leukemia.  Give this child of God the strength to overcome whatever lies ahead.

My fervent prayer is for Rick, Dear Father.  His battle requires your helping hand.  He's in so much pain and for your healing powers I am pleading.  Be with the family as they help Rick to get through this.  I know that you are with him and I know that you will give Scherry the strength and lift them both to a higher place where they can trust in you for all their needs.
All these things I ask in your precious son's name.  Amen
