Goodmorning , Well it is a cool day here for the parade and Memorial Day service. But then again I have never been soaken wet and freezing and muddy sitting in a trench., so it is a good day for me.and you.I turn on all the light and it brightens the day in here anyway. On Nov. 12th I always put up one thing for Christmas,I don't know what it will be though.Does any one else start that day? Hi Dolly.....it is so nice to see you in here my friend. That sounds like a good tip with the sour cream..I will try it this evening. I try not to think about Christmas until December.....it makes the waiting time too long. I find that going to the Santa Claus parade gets me in the spirit . Dec 4 here.Have a great day! I have to get through Thanksgiving before I start thinking about Christmas. Dolly, Tom is at the Veteran's Day program at our high school. They honor the vets every year and the program is always very nice. Hugs, Raven |

Ducky, nice to see you onboard once again, missed hearing from you! No I don't like to start digging out any Christmas stuff until Decemeber.I am looking at the calender and I will probably put my tree up on the 6th this year.I like to have it up early so I can enjoy it, but it comes down right after Christmas.I am not doing any shopping this year, giving money and gift cards.I will try to cut the baking down too, thats a harder task for me! Ha! Cape |

Hello DucktDolly, If I had my way we'd have Christmas things up all year round!!!!! Vikki's birthday is on 25th November, and we always keep birthday cards up for a week in this house, so that has meant Christmas decorating starting on December 1st. She's not lived at home for a few years now, but we still keep the tradition. I can't wait for my tree! Love |
