Queensland Map

Map of Australia showing Queensland John and I leave for a two month trip to Northwestern New South Wales and Queensland at the beginning of May, returning at the beginning of July. We will be in our motorhome and Elaine and Bob our friends, in their car and caravan. We will travel over 7,000 klms. Outback Queensland is rugged and beautiful, the Gulf country is flat and savannah like.  We travel inland after picking up the motorhome from Hawks Nest and head inland through North west New South Wales up into Queensland to Longreach and places north.Normanton and Karumba are the furthest north on the left of the map in the Gulf of Carpentaria. We will go then head east across to Cooktown on the coast and travel south home. Cooktown and Cairns are close to the  Barrier Reef.  We have booked all our parks and plan on spending a couple of days mininum in most towns. I'll be getting on the internet as often as I can, depending on accessibility. On our return trip south we will visit Glenn and Alison and the grandchildren on the Sunshine Coast north of Brisbane.
Pammy.
