I have tons of recipes that are cheap and really great tasting. I am going to post a few at a time.

Cowboy Stew (there really are no exact measurements make as much or a little as you want and put as much of each ingredient as you want)
Ground Pork browned and drained
Frozen Okra
Frozen Corn Kernels
Caned/Fresh Stewed Tomatoes diced(if you use fresh make sure you blanch them and remove the skin)
Salt and pepper to taste
We top ours with a relish or chow chow (we go to the market and get black eyed pea relish and my mom loves the corn relish)

The good thing about this recipe is that if you dont like something in it just switch it out for some other veggie. Like frozen green beans or peas instead of okra or you can add those alone with the okra do what every you like but it taste sooo GOOD.

Another recipe I have is what I call fry biscuits. My daughter LOVES them and ask for them. These are great for breakfast or with a meal as the bread.

1 cup flour
2 tsp of baking powder
1 tsp of sugar (but I use more like 1/2 cup when I make them for breakfast)
1/2 tsp of salt

You mix all the dry ingredients together and blend 3/4 cup of water in to mix. In a skillet fill with 1/4 inch deep with oil and let heat up. Drop by tablespoon into hot oil and flip when bubbles form alone the edges heat till golden brown. For breakfast you can put honey or what every else you put on your biscuits Enjoy.
