Hello everyone,

You may remember previous posts about Dori and her blood issues with not clotting. I wanted to send an update on Dori. She did finally recover and was doing great. Then one day, at the dog park, she was bitten in the ear. Talk about you blood and yes again it would not clot. She had another minor surgery to get the ear stitched. Yup she bled for about another three days before it stopped. However, this was nothing to what she had been through before.

The most wonderful news is Dori was adopted yesterday by a wonderful couple from Park City, UT. They have owned six Danes in the past four of which were rescue Danes. They have a current Dane named Henry, a beautiful Blue Merle. Their Vet talked to all the Vets that handled Dori and they understand her blood condition.

I thought you would like to hear about Dori's very Happy New Year.

John

Thank you, John, for the update. I am proud to say that I contributed to Dori's medical bills. All the pain and the worry is worth it now that Dori has a wonderful, loving home. Congratulations, Dori, and all who cared for her!

Oh that's great news.  So glad she'll be with experienced loving Dane owners.
Thanks for the update.  I also love a happy ending,
