Ok Gracie has Jowels but they dont droop that low. Tank has HUGE jowels and he sticks his face all the way in the water bowl when he drinks, well I would end up with slime on me and I couldn't figure out if it was eye booger or where it had come from. Well I was just playing with Tank and his jowel got caught on my arm and ewww this nasty slobbery slime. so I took a sock that was on the floor and wiped his jowels and EWWWWWWWWWW anyone else have to do this?

Funny. Modoc is not a drooler but he knows he always get a little taste of what I'm eating so now he has started drooling when he sees me eat.  I had to yell at him the other day because he was drooling over the remote controls for the entertainment center while I was eating some soup. Now  as far as eye boogers......I'm strictly a paper towel clean up person.  I'm not going to touch them, lol,

Lol, oh yes... Barrett has always had big jowels that seem to just hang on to everything! He knows that he is not allowed to put his face anywhere near us after he eats until he's gotten rid of all the slobbery food leftovers on them! We also have a towel at each sink (he doesn't drink out of a dish anymore... he insists on drinking from the sink!) and he gets wiped off when he's done before he goes anywhere! He's starting to learn when we tell him to "lick your chops", he needs to clean himself up a little before he gets any closer!

Hallie has big blubbery jowels too.   She is a mess when she drinks.... there is a 20 foot trail of water following her.   My daughter hides when she hears her.    And yes no matter what those jowels are always wet.  When she rests her head on you, she always leaves a wet spot.   Jeri, I am with you, paper towels only for the eye boogers... ewwwww.

I guess you just get used to have towels laying around at easy reach.

This is brilliant: "starting to learn when we tell him to "lick your chops""!!

Maybe because I am a nurse I am not hesitant to remove normal eye boogers (called goopers in my house!) by hand. I only get out the kleenex or toilet paper for them if they are infected.
