I used to use this liquid glucosamine for horses on Ashleigh. It was like a miracle. I tried all kinds of pills, but the horse supplement was the best and lasted for 3months, since I cut the dosage down for my great dane.

Rhonda,

Do you remember what the name of the horse supplement was that you used?

Thanks!
Wendy

I've got Jack on Grand Flex by Grand Meadows. It's for horses and dogs. Jack is 2.8 yrs. old and was just starting to show signs of stiffness. He has been on it for about 6 weeks and it does seem to be helping. You can check it out at:

calvetsupply.com/800 366-3047/Arthrisoothe Liquid Glucosamine for Horses.   at the website put in liquid glucosamine for horses and it comes up. There are other brand names of liquid glucosamine for horses and you could check with your local feed store, also. This is just what worked for me and my sr dane. Let me know what you do....I would be very interested in knowing you found something that works for you.

Holly & I share glucosamine sulfate that I get at Walmart and I also give her RESOURCES Canine ES Pain Plus Support for inflammation. It is a holistic product recommended by her holistic vet. I don't give the recommended dose because she doesn't need that much. But it works great. She can keep up with DJ (6 months old in 2 days) and she just turned 7 the 5th of January! :)

Thanks everyone.  Elway is going to be 7 this year and I've noticed he is looking a little stiff.  I need to get him on a supplement quick!
