Another article on this drama. Now O'Brien has listed her loft for sale. Interesting, why then, is she harassing this family and their dog? If people are holding their noses when Mrs. Lyons in the the elevator (even without her pet) maybe it is the family that "smells" and not the dog. It would be interesting to know what cuisine they dine on regularly.
Poor dog! Unwelcomed in a 4000sqft loft that has a $3million tag! These people are horrible. I wouldn't want to live in a building that house so much nastiness.

"He also offered to use the freight elevator to walk the dog, but the board refused to allow it."

Here is a perfectly logical solution to the problem, and yet the board won't allow it? I don't think that the dog is the problem in this case. I think it's the family for some unknown reason. Otherwise, it seems to me, that the freight elevator would be the perfect solution. This Chelsea loft is a renovated industrial building, meaning thick concrete construction. I had a friend that had a loft in Atlanta at the old Telephone factory and the walls were so thick you could have had a shooting gallery in one and not hear (or smell) a thing even right next door!

"'Lyons said neighbors welcomed him, his wife, and three children when they bought their $3 million, 4,000-square-foot loft in 2003, "

Also, how can they be "evicted"? They bought the loft, they own it. I'm confused. Can a Co-op board tell an owner that they have to move? I'm in AZ and we don't have Co-op buildings that I am aware of.

I deleted the other 2 posts since I obviously had more to say. :)
