This is my 1st Dane Sky Alexandria 4.July.1998 to 10.August.2004
Oh, just realized that the camera date says 2008..ha ha that's funny.  That's weird though too.  But I tell ya..she has crossed that bridge a four years ago so.. that pic wasn't taken this year.

My Sky has been gone for four years now and I still miss her as much as I did that day she passed.  She was my first Dane and will always hold that place in my heart.  So many good memories though and enough to surpass that last day she had upon this earth.  She and I went through a lot together.  Here is one of those stories:
I would take her everywhere in my car just to keep her used to car riding.  We pulled up at our Sonic drive in since we were hungry.  My windows weren't tinted and before I went to order, (Sky was in the front seat buckled), this woman pulls next to us takes one look at Sky and pulls back out and leaves.  Man, it was too funny.  She would always start fights so I couldn't really walk her in the park and such so we just rode around in the car.
She had one blue eye and one hazel eye, that is why I named her Sky.  We always had people teasing her and throwing things at her because no one was used to seeing a dog that size.  Even had someone trying to shoot her when she was a pup.  One morning I woke up, she was there lying on our porch dead.  We didn't have the money for a neucropsy (sp) so we still don't know what happened.  I cried and cried forever it seems..  But I have Star which is her daughter..there are still times I call Star..Sky.

This is a great page!!  Great job!
