My Charlie Brown crossed the bridge long before he should have.  On March 29, 2008, some one, ( I think a neighbor) thru a large venison steak laced with decon over my 7 foot privacy fence/  All three were out side at the time.  Charlie got to it first.  Once he ate the tainted meat, the poison went to work quickly.  When I called them to come back inside, I didn see Charlie.  I called again, he didnt come.  I went out to get him, and he was bleeding from his mouth and nose, an eyes.  I rushed him to the vet, but the effects were irreversible.  The vet euthanized him andhe died in my arms.  I sobbed and sobbed for days.  I hang his collar and tags in my livingroom as though it were a priceless oil painting. It's priceless to me. Charlie would have turned 4 on the 10th of June. Happy birthday prince Charles. We love you so very much.
