I tried and tried to stay awake

to have my picture taken.

But I was just so very tired

that I couldn't be awakened.

This whole day was so exciting,

I guess it was too much for me.

So, I shut my eyes to take a rest,

and slept too sound, you see.

Yet, I hope that my first photo

will bring everyone great pleasure.

And as years pass by, and I grow up,

this photo you'll always treasure.
