Aurora and the Dragons

Deep within the Northwest region.
Under starry skies,
Aurora dances with the dragons.
For the wonder of our eyes.

Hearts of flame and wings of ether
Together at night,
All their magic combines.
In wonders bright.

Mystic fire shapes the night time
Shadows shift and swirl,
Over frozen tree lined fields
Dancers twist and twirl.

Beneath the night fly the white dragons,
Lords of motion in the air
And this icy world.
Left within their loving care.

Aurora spins on feet of cobwebs
Creating changing colors
in spectral bands of broad delight,
She dances with the others.

Dragon fire magic lights the backdrop,
Showing off for all to see,
The beauty of the northern lights.
And Lady Aurora's mystery.
