I have a very special gift,
Not one that you can see.
It's something that I carry in my heart.
It means so much to me.
This special gift gives me constant love,
A friendship beyond compare.
When I am hurt or lonesome,
I can look and my gift is always there.
When I need someone to listen,
When I need someone to care,
When I want to share the happy things,
My gift is there to share
When life is rough and isn't fair,
And I think I can't go on.
My special gift reminds me
That it's there ...
And, with that, I have the strength,
To pick up all the pieces
And go on ~ because
I know that someone cares.
