It was earlier in the morning. Sun was just coming out and bird were starting to churp. She grabs the door handle too find it was locked. "Fuck" She said as she turns around to face the street. She hears the door open but before she could turn around she was grabbed by the hair and pulled in. "Please no!" She says as he throws her to the floor by her hair. "What did I do?!" She looks up at him as she props herself on her elbows, looking at him with fear.

"You go out, stay out for days and don't bother to come home until early morning!" He picks her up by the hair again and punches her. Her head flys back in his grasp and he lets go.

"Dad! Please" She begs as she rolls over too get up. He kicks her in the stomache as she tries to get up. She had tears running down her face as she recieved such a beating. She lays on her back as he walks over and stands over her, looking at her with angry eyes. "Dad, I'm sorry" Although she wasn't sure what she was sorry for. She's recieved such beatings before but it did hurt everytime for her father to be beating on her.

She starts to push herself with her feet as she crabs walk, eyes kept with her fathers. "Just because you are fuckin' suspended from school doesn't mean you could fuckin' stay out all fuckin' week!" He follows her.

"I'm sorry!" She cries to him as she comes to a wall and she pushes herself to sit against it. "Please!" She begs again as her voice drowns in tears.

He raises his hand and slaps her heard that it echoes in the house. Her face is left turned as it stung from his hand. Her eyes were clentched. She felt her feet being grabbed and her heart jumped and she took a deep breath in as he dragged her to her room. "Dad! I'm sorry" She says again.

He drops her feet and bends down and pulls her up by her hair. He throws her in her room and closes the door. "Let this be a reminder" He says as he pulls his belt out that he had tucked in the back of his sweats.

Jezzi couldn't stand it any more. They all know better not to interupt him when he gets like this. She throws her blankets off of her and when she steps out of her room she almost collides with Ajax and Jinx. They quickly make their way to Nyx's room who was curled up on the floor taking in their dads whips. "Go!" Eilka says quietly as she stood by her and Alvah's room.

The three make entrance at their mother's order. Ajax and Jinx grab hold of their dad's wrists. Fighting too stop his whips. As they fought their father, Jezzi got down by Nyx and pushed the hair from her face to see a black eye forming. She went to touch Nyx's back to help her up by she flincged at her touch. Jezzi lifted her shirt a bit to see the whips broke her skin in some places.

"Dad!" Ajax yells as him and Jinx kept pushing him back. "It's enough!" Alvah back hands him as he gets on wrist free.

He swings at Jinx and he lets go of the other. He goes for Nyx again and she sees him coming. Jezzi sees her turn her face to the floor and she turns around."Dad" Jezzi says as she turns around to face him, block Nyx. "No more. Please" She had tears running down her cheeks.

He pauses for a second as he breathes heavy, looking from one daughter to the other. Ajax and Jinx watch as they were on the floor from his strength. "Let this be a fuckin' lesson for you all" He points a finger at Jezzi. He raises his hand and strikes her with the belt on the stomach. He turns around and slams the door behind him. Jezzi just closes her eyes as she takes the pain of the whip. Ajax and Jinx crawl over to the two girls.

"You okay" Ajax said as he looks at Jezzi

"Nothing new" She says as she rubs her stomache and looks at Nyx who was still curled up on the floor. Not a way anybody would want to wake up on a Tuesday morning but it was normal for them.
