Lucky laughed as he leaned on the counter, ordering a cherry coke. "Relax chica, I'm in no need of money." he shook his head and grinned as he watched the waitress filling orders. "Just small talk whilst I order a drink." he looked over at the girl who had entered the diner shortly before him. He certainly hadn't seen her on the mornings when he'd chosen to skip or was half cut or hung over. "You know they won't serve beers to minors though, right? It's kinda against the law." he had to laugh at himself though, a natural drinker from birth. His means of catching a buzz were from hanging out at Relliks or with Aura. "What's your name any how?"

"Suppose you could when they bring it to you." he laughed and slid her id back to her. "But not beer cause that says you're only 18. They don't serve minors alcohol here." he stretched his arms over his head and smiled at the waitress as she slid him his cherry coke. He took a long drink and looked back over at Nikita. "By the way- you don't need to show me your id or shit. What the hell could I do with it? I'm just a high school student. You expect me to throw you in detention?" he winked at her.

He laughed a little at her words and shook his head. He could see she already was trying to be the tough side of LA life, but who was she trying to prove? He knew all the sides of the life there and so far she was doing pretty good at giving him s chuckle. "Calm down there sport. Shit. Seem more full of piss and vinegar rather than sugar and spice. Nobody's telling you what to do, don't need to try to be badass about it." he stood up and dropped his money on the counter, checking the clock. Maybe Aura was awake for a wake-n-bake before he got to class. A little D-N-A to get him by the morning. "Word of advice though, Nikita. Hollywood will chew you up and spit you out. Nobody ever really makes it if they just walk in. Gotta have the money and force. The real badasses of this city will make your headspin. Choose your options well or else you may end up an Jane Doe on the sidewalk." he tipped his cowboy hat at her. "See you around."
