It was a warm morning before class and she sat on the bleachers, waiting on some friends. As usual most mornings, it had taken Amaryllis to break up her and Daisi from having it out. While she loved her sisters, she and Daisi would never get along- they were just too different. Her, the artsy girl. She preferred her life simple. Flowing skirts, cheaper things. And art of all kinds. She chose not to flaunt money.

She pushed some of her hair out of her face, looking across the field and a smile swept across her lips. She grabbed her book bag and rushed down the steps to meet up with him.

"Lucky!" she smiled as she greeted him for the morning.

"Hey Angie." he smirked. "Long morning?"

"As always. With the diva sister I have it's impossible not to be."

He chuckled and walked with her to the back of the equipment shed.

"Well then. I think I have something that will make the rest of the day fly."

She couldn't help but laugh as he reached into his back pack and grabbed a 20 sack and some rolling paper. He rolled up a joint and handed it to her.

"Lucky, you've got some balls if you think the teachers wont smell this on us."

"Like they'd believe a pretty flower like you would smoke pot. Just say I did it. I think I'm overdue to see Dr.Bill anyways. Or at least see myself in his chrome dome."

She laughed and took the lighter, checking to see if anybody was coming.

"I so love you right now." she placed the joint in her lips and lit it.

He laughed and looked around as she took a toke off the joint. "When don't you love me? It's hard not to love Lucky." he winked at her. "Tell that to Piper." She retorted as she passed the joint to him. He shrugged and placed it in his mouth. "I have. She'll come around. Just got to get past her ol' man." he shook his head and leaned back against the shack. "Which I'm not too worried about. The guy's a pussycat." "Like you even have a chance." He took a long inhale and held it, looking at her with a raised eyebrow.

He let the smoke out and handed it back to her. "Ah, we'll get there. I just gotta get away from Dr.Bill long enough to score." he shook his head and glanced around again. "So how is the little satan Daisi anyways? Surprised even Amaryllis can put up with her."

Angie rolled her eyes as she took another hit off the joint.

"That girl may as well be satan in a skirt and matching shoes. I can't stand her. How Amaryllis does it is beyond me." she shook her head and handed him the joint.

"Ah, I'm sure she'll wisen up soon." Lucky shrugged.

"I dont think you understand, Luck. She's so into the fact our family has money it blinds her. But maybe there'll be some miracle and she'll come off her high horse. But I think by that time a prep will date a street and Tinkerbell Cash will be the least popular girl in school."

Lucky laughed and raised an eyebrow at her. "So never?"

"Yeah."

They paused and looked at each other. "Somebody coming?" she asked

Lucky looked at her and listened, shifting to peer around the corner. "Fuck. It's that rent-a-cop Tim." he sighed. Angie raised an eyebrow at him. "I thought he was nice?" "Fuck no! Tim's the kind of rent-a-cop that will beat you down and steal your weed!" He took the blunt and lighter from Angie and looked at her. "Just try and creep out of here as best as you can. I'll take the fall. But like hell if he's gonna steal my weed."

"Lucky, I don't want to leave you!" Angie protested, looking at him.

"Ang- even if you did stay, they'd look the other way- to them you aren't anything but the A-student art girl. I'm not afraid to go down. I think I have an ass-groove in that seat anyways."

She still frowned and stood her ground.

"I'm staying, Lucky."

Aura was just coming from partying all night at Rellik's and was out on a beer run. She had decided to cut throught the field. Her nose had caught wiff of a sweet smell "Something sticks purdy" She said as she started to let her nose lead the way. She had gotten closer and could hear voices rush to caution. She laughs as she hears Lucky's name being said. "And I am staying as well. Something stinks purdy and it's calling Aura's name" She grinned as she looked at the too as they seemed to be relieved it was Aura. "Unless you two plan on ditching?"

Angie sighed in relief as she looked at Aura, shaking her head. She glanced back at Lucky, who peered around to make sure Tim had gone his own way before he turned back to Aura.

"You have no idea how ready I was to have kicked your ass if you were another rent-a-cop." he chuckled.

Angie smiled at Aura and looked back at Lucky.

"I say we should at least skip the first part of the day. Can always go see Piper." she teased. "And you look like you could use a hair of the dog missy." she pointed at Aura.

Aura laughs as she looks at the two "Now" She looks at Lucky "What sweet stuff would you be talkin' about?" She winks. She slightly turns her head "I think if we are going to go, we better go now" As she listens intently "Or else you two wont be leaving the grounds" She looks from Lucky to Angie.

Angie nodded and adjusted her book bag as they started to walk away from behind the storage shed.

"Better to get out of there first before the rent-a-cop or Rory shows up. I don't really feel like talking to Ms. Black today as it is."

She turned and walked backwards, pointing at Lucky.

"So you'll have to wait to give Aura your 'sweet stuff'." she winked and looked at Aura, turning around and putting an arm around her neck.

"I think you can handle that. So where to?"

Lucky looked over at her and shrugged. "I don't have any clue... wait! Lets go to the corner street diner. I wanna see miss Piper." he nodded vacantly and glanced over at Aura. "Just cause I have to wait to give this sexy my "sweet stuff." he winked at her and threw an arm around Angie's neck. "If you were up for it, I'd let you have some too." he chuckled.
