Not so silent running
(Or the drunken adventures of Sunf and Tracey)

Ahh the times of legend
When the ale flowed freely and women were..err women
To celebrate the old passing year our heroes ventured to a seedy tavern
Never daunted by  the fact the ale was watered and the food looked down upon by mice

Nonsense!
Twill be the most excellent start of a new year
Tracey pointed out the place was far past minging
Somewhere actually dwelling in "depraved"

It was Sunf who first heard the ruckus caused by the watch
Long sodded with beverage to be brave enough to stand against six grown lads
*Author's note: kids don't try this at home!
She swung a mighty barstool

It was about this time Tracey awakened from her stupor
Only to find that all hell had broken loose
And no one had elected her Queen! The nerve!
She tried to calmly persuade the watchmen that there indeed was a good story for all of this

A long story made short
Tracey and Sunf were given lovely bracelets and a nice place to stay for the evening
So it falls upon me, your humble bard, to ask for a coin or two
For the freedom of my friends you say?

No for the tavern damages! She ruined the stage before my act was to start!
To be sure lads we do need the money
Their freedom fund sits in the "paultry" level
Maybe after the tavern has a stage I will sing for them both.
